Profile

Age: 17

Conal started playing hockey in the Netherlands when he was 7,  playing for HDM, Haagsche Delftsche Mixed Hockey Club. He came back to England when he was 10 and joined FOHC, his local club. Conal played his first adult game when he was 13 for the fledglings and got into the Kent team a year later. He progressed each year, getting further in the single system, making JRPC at U16, then being selected for the new Performance Centre at U17. Early in 2017, he was invited to take part in the England Hockey AASE programme (Advanced Award in Sporting Excellence) and hopes to be selected to play for England at the 2018 UK School Games.
