Captaining Crystal Palace Ladies youth team for four seasons

Being selected for Kent at under 14s and under 16s (captain at under 14)

Winning multiple titles with Crystal Palace Ladies, most notably the 2013-14 season where she captained the team that won the League, The League Cup and County Cup as well as an international tournament in Holland.

Being asked to become an Ambassador for The Shepway Sports Trust

Future Goals

Gaining and maintaining a place in the Crystal Palace Ladies first team.

Playing In the Women’s Super League and at international level if at all possible.

To gain the best possible grades and create a career involving sport.

To help other young girls take up and stay in sport and show the benefits that it brings.

Age: 17

Lexie currently plays for Crystal Palace Ladies FC, playing right back in the First Team Reserves.

Aged 7, Lexie started out playing and as a founder member of Smeeth And Brabourne FC (a Shepway Sports Trust partner) as not only, the only girl in a team of lads, but the only girl in the league!  At age 10, with the rules banning girls from boys teams after age 11, Lexie went for trials at Crystal Palace, where she joined a squad of talented young players, progressing through the age groups winning multiple league titles, league cups and County cups. Lexie became captain of her Crystal Palace team aged 12.

From age 13-16, Lexie also represented Kent, captaining the County team in her under 14 season.

Following a hugely successful season as under 16s captain at Crystal Palace, winning a domestic treble and an international tournament, 2014-15 saw Lexie and her team move into Women’s football as a Development Squad. It was from there in late 2014 that Lexie was selected to join the First Team Reserves, where she has played every game in the FA Women’s Premier Reserves League since joining. Lexie is the youngest player to ever be selected for the First Team Reserves from the Crystal Palace development system.

Lexie currently attends The Highworth Grammar School in Ashford where she is studying for her A Levels.
