Shepway Sports Trust was set up in 2013 and the first five years was focused on establishing ourselves in the local area, partnering with schools, sports clubs and community groups to create a strong workforce of people who are all passionate about improving sport and physical activity in our district.

Over the course of six months, we have been working and collaborating with our partners to determine a strategic framework for Shepway Sports Trust over the next five years. It details our vision for the local community and the outcomes we hope to achieve as a team.

We invite everybody to look through our strategy and we encourage you to get involved; whether as a school, club, community group, participant, coach, volunteer or community champion. If there’s something in our strategy which you are passionate about, which excites you or sparks an urgency to be part of the mission, we would love to hear from you. Our charity is centred on community action, under the belief that together we can do so much more.

With this in mind, we would like to award a £1000 grant to a community project which believes in similar values to Shepway Sports Trust and we would work in partnership with you to deliver this project. To apply, we’d just like to know a bit about your idea and how it aligns with our five-year strategy. Simply fill in the form on the right and we will be in touch – the deadline is Thursday 28th February.
