Jenna started windsurfing aged 12, taught by her parents who had both been windsurf instructors. She began competing shortly after, achieving her first raceboard national youth (U21) title in 2012 aged 15.
She explored many different disciplines, with international results including: 3rd at the Women’s Formula World Championships, 1st overall in the North Sea Cup raceboard series in 2015 against over 100 men from all over northern Europe and many national titles.
She discovered slalom racing in 2015, a faster pace, more competitive discipline and immediately fell in love with the adrenaline rush that only comes from slalom racing. She began training whilst also studying for 4 A-levels. Since then, she has achieved slalom national, European and world titles in youth and senior categories.
Jenna’s next step is competing in the hydrofoiling category, where the board flies a metre out of the water allowing racing in even lighter winds.
