Age: 23

Lauren currently plays semi-professional women’s football as a defender for FAWPL side Gillingham Ladies. Lauren is one of the more experienced players at the club with this being her 5th season. She began playing football at the age of 4 for a local club in Folkestone, Kent. She was scouted at the age of 9 to Arsenal Ladies where she stayed for 10 years. She went to Oaklands College in St Albans combining her studies in a professional environment training every day for the Arsenal Ladies Academy.  At 18 she was then signed by Gillingham Ladies and has stayed ever since. In 2011 Lauren went out to the USA to play in a summer league for Tampa Bay Hellenic reaching the final four in the country. Lauren currently works at Hampton Primary School in Herne Bay where she teaches children from 4-11 PE and sport.
